During the annual Blindness Awareness Expo at the State Capitol on June 15, local residents representing Braille-A-Wear showcased their wares. Pictured with Rep. The Tagoes created Braille-A-Wear as a way for individuals with blindness to have a greater connection to the clothes they wear. The event is sponsored by Labor and Industry’s Office of Vocational Rehabilitation, Bureau of Blindness and Visual Services and the Advisory Committee for the Blind of Pennsylvania.
